I have never been able to use tampons without leakage. What could the problem be? Something to do with my anatomy?
Thanks!

There may be many reasons contributing to leakage. First of all, do you follow the instructions of inserting tampons correctly? If not, it may be a possible reason for the leakage you are encountering
會唔會係放嘅位置唔夠入,而出現滲漏嘅情況呢?
另外要留意自己嘅血量,如果比較多的話都需要勤換的,唔係吸唔晒都會出現滲漏架
Surely I have followed the instructions, and it’s not about over absorbtion.
How to tell if it’s not “in” enough? I just pushed it past vaginal opening until it doesn’t hurt walking, the tip of the tampon is to the side of the cervix.
Should the tip of the tampon be facing directly at the cervical opening??
This is a good article to follow - especially for the method of putting the tampon in:
若是棉條放置位置正確,照理說,會讓你完全感受不到它的存在。所以若是有不舒服的異物感,可能是推得不夠深入,也可能是角度不對,摩擦到陰道內壁肌膚了。
It seems to me that “it doesn’t hurt walking” means that you can still feel it inside. Do try again and see it it works - everyone’s anatomy is different.
Period again. This morning I tried inserting the tampon ( through the applicator) to the far end of the vagina, and also inserting less far, stopping when the grip/ribbed section was right at the vaginal opening. Seems like I could never say bye bye to napkins
I doubt if it is the “angle of attack” that matters if it falls short of the entire length of the vagina. Relax and your muscle will be less tight and difficult to push the tampon in.
This is another good reference:
Do try a few more times and don’t be frustrated - practice makes perfect.
Don’t give up. I know some gals do need tampon because of various reasons.
How about trying another brand?
